All this innuendo about not passing tests, allergic reactions, unavailability, etc. Do these kids not have anything else to do in Baton Rouge?

No worse than Tuscaloosa. They don’t care there as long as they win

It's a big problem that it's not legal.

Not as bad as anywhere else, it’s the synthetic weed that’s concerning.

How do you know it's a weed problem, and not a shithead for a HC problem?

It’s the same as it is anywhere else in the country. It’s just LSU actually tests and penalizes players for smoking while other schools don’t.

Our compliance department needs to get over themselves and quit acting like we’re BYU

It is legal in many states already and will soon be federally legal so why are we fighting this battle? It’s like fighting prohibition.

LSU is the only University that has athletes that smoke pot. It is real unfortunate.

Weed isn't the problem anymore than alcohol is. The problem is that we have people in charge in this state who are still operating under a 1950's mindset in that weed is this taboo drug to partake in underground circles.

Come on man. shite should be legalized by now. And LSU for damn sure shouldn't go out of their way to test for it when their competitors aren't. We're making this whole thing way more difficult.

I'd venture to say that this is 2020's version of playing black athletes. At one time, all the SEC traditionalists scoffed at the idea and were all like "NO WAY!" And then people like Bear Bryant got with the times and started playing (and dominating) with black athletes against all the traditionalists who said it would destroy the sport. Same thing with weed.

It's time to open your mind a little bit and realize that it's no worse than drinking.
