Because arguably Neal and Frey need ABs right now more than anybody

Agreed on Frey; don’t think they want him in the field quite yet with the shoulder.

I just don’t want the 3rd string catcher in the outfield that shouldn’t be too much to ask.

So why do it, when guys like Brown and Larson are actual outfielders who need playing time?

I’d bet one or both of them get ABs tonight. Frey and Neal need ABs more right now

Do all the Lions have the little stache? Is that their thing?

The third string catcher needs to be the second string catcher and DH on days he’s not catching when Frey gets healthy. Neal is very talented. Jay wants him to get going. Playing an irregular lineup on a Tuesday is a perfect game to do that

I think we all believe Neal Frey and Travinski are 3 of the 9 players with the highest offensive upside. Jay has to find a way to get them all in the lineup if he wants this team to reach its ceiling. Nothing wrong with letting Neal get comfortable in RF at this point in the season. He actually has the potential to be really good there with his arm

I am assuming Jay challenged all the pitchers tonight and said this is to see who is next in line to pitch this weekend

He's gonna let them throw a bullpen workout. I expect to see a handful of PC.
