I dont know why people complain about this so much. When I went to a game I thought they had a pretty good plan set up.

What else do people expect when 100-150k people are trying to leave mostly all at once.

We parked across from DKE on Dalrymple and it took us 15 minutes tops to get on I-10

Didn't think traffic was bad at all on that end

Where Aster meets Highland and all the traffic from Kirby Smith leaves there was not one cop. Two cars parked in the road but not a single cop directing. The traffic was waiting on the light to turn which allows about 4 cars ever 3 minutes.

I stayed til the end, went to my vehicle, had a sammich and a beer and headed out. I was home (Prairieville)by around 11.30.Considering the size of the crowd I don't think I have anything to complain about.

bullshite. It's worse leaving the Alex Box lot this year.

This is my quote from the OT thread and sums up how I feel about it:

quote:

The contraflow isn't a true contraflow if you allow all signals to operate as normal. They have it set up to look the part, but now it's just a two lane traffic jam instead of one lane. And for anybody trying to drive back into campus against the flow, you are part of the problem.
