I can't wait for us to hoist the national championship for SEC wins since 2005. I'm assuming that's how they award the championship in football now, yes?

I pray you sunshine pumpers never get in a position of leadership or mgt. Yalls assessment of how a leader is supposed to get the most out of his resources and adapting to competition is complete shite.
Have we done better than most teams in CFB? Yes but how much has Les left on the table by not adapting his offense, recruit classes that don't leave gaping holes year and year out, develop a QB and manage a clock???

That's the issue, we aren't playing to our potential and the arse clown of a coach refuses to adapt to reach that potential. Instead of competing for National Championships with the talent we have we are stuck playing in children of the poor bowl games bc 1 man refuses to adapt, hire coaches outside his circle of friends, recruit needs and fire coaches before they run a position completely into the ground.

I'm pretty sure in 10 years of the Miles era LSU has been in two national championships games. LSU won one, and lost the other to a team they beat in the regular season. Besides Saban (bc is is the defacto best coach in CFB right now) what current coach at his current team has appeared in 2 CG in 10 years (2 appearances within 4 years of each other)

5th place in the west last year

4th place in the west this year.

That's what you call the bottom half of the division the last 2 years.

We made it to the SEC championship game 5 times between 2001-2011

We are 0 for the last 4.

We are on the wrong end of your little stat I'm afraid.

Now that LSU is established, they win 7-8 games on talent alone.

Again, the only thing we may regret is not going a different direction sooner.. We could have done so much more given this amount of ridiculous talent.. but people are content with 9 wins because of the bad yester years..

The current philosophy is not going to allow us to win big games against equal talent.. That's wonderful Les recruits great talent.. but we are underachieving so hard.. LSU recruits itself though.

It's just so sickening people defend him any more.. and I was the biggest Les Miles defender there was up until the past couple of seasons. I was the biggest be careful what you wish for person around.. but I don't see LSU doing any worse than THIS CURRENT TREND.. and I do believe the sky is the limit with better coaching.

Les has no answers when imposing his will doesn't work against equal/better talent.. That is unacceptable. The offense is such a mess.. it's just not run well. constant penalties, delays in getting the calls in.. Get a fricking coordinator who calls play from the field and has full control Les. So sick of his stubbornness.

We will continue to win at least 8 games.. Great.. That's great.. Even our wins over lesser teams are struggles now. I miss the days of LSU dominating inferior competition, and dominating bowl games. We don't do either any more.

I'm with you man. It should have happened. I used to defend him but non-adjustments and poor QB development have me wanting a change. I was just saying it's hard to fire a coach that just went 10-3, even if those 3 games were all SECW opponents in a row. I wish something would happen but I think next year is the true hot-seat year bc that amazing class will all be JRs. Then if he can't at least get to ATL with Fournette in his prime year then he has no more excuses.

I was still on a high from winning a national title in 2003....something I never thought was possible after the 90's. I know the last 2 games were fluke losses though

4-4
5-3
