I can't wait for Dillon to get his touches. He's gonna be electric.. we have talent unproven talent but for coaches and players to say that Dillon dominated in camp says something. I hope he's our version of a Christian Kirk. Gage has always been raved about as well. He's gonna have his chance now. He's a smooth athletic kid who made the switch and passed up a lot of WR on depth chart last year. Also the when Sullivan and or drake is on the field with chark and Moreau. That's some targets for Danny that will hurt defenses if he can get the ball to em. The sec analyst have ?'d our WR and oline group all off season. I bet we're solid at both !! Geaux tigers !!

Damn this board gets crazy right before a season. Since the LSU WR's you mentioned besides DJ have about 7 total career catches between them.Yes they may turn out to be good, but you guys would be laughing at an opponent that had those numbers.

They're inexperienced but uber talented with size to boot.

We all know how analysis is retrospective anyway. We can't throw the ball, one dimensional, lost two starters to the NFL....you know how it goes.

Not true at all. See young talented WR all the time who are unproven but I know their talented. Happen with chark. And when everyone on the team is saying he's a beast I tend To believe em

I think the bigger guys will be used more for downfield deep balls and EZ, or possession type routes. If you need a TD or first down, or need a big play down field.

Chark, Gage, and Dillon will be used more for driving. Sweeps, hand offs, fakes, flat routes, crossing routes, curls, outs, in's, digs. Chark, Drake, and Sullivan for more, go routes, posts, fades, and corners. I say mostly because of course they will have to mix it up a bit as well. But mostly. They will all block, Canada is smart so this offense should be lots of fun to watch. Canada even said in an interview not long ago that he's going to give LSU fans a show. Said its his job to do that.

I don't think they look all confused in the first game at all. I think they prepared these guys in the offseason like we just aren't used to seeing. If you look at the spring game when the offense was first being installed, there wasn't mass confusion. The problem was that Etling only had confidence in Chark. He didn't know any of the other WRs. I think they are all much closer now. Etling also said that he has to mesh the two groups together this year, to play as one.

Look at the scrimmages and we put up some good numbers on this Aranda defense. Aranda had even said that it takes an entire summer to fully prepare for it. Even then Canada could easily change things up on you to create doubt. I just have a feeling that this team is going to be very very good. We'll see but I'm ready.

According to Dave Aranda, Canada's offense will be very good. That's good enough for me.

EXACTLY! I love LSU and see just how talented our WRs are, but they are very inexperienced. Anybody that doesn't follow LSU like local media and LSU fans won't know a damn thing about guys who've only made plays in closed practice (and I do mean closed practice because the half of spring game showed us nothing).

I don't think it's possible to be over talented is it?

I don't know much about Gage, other than he made one of the best td plays I've ever seen with a difficult catch and got a foot in bounds which was even more difficult. That and the camp buzz gives me faith in the guy.
