It the SEC commish was a leader, he would have given both ADs three options and 6 hours to decide:

1. Delay to Sunday or Monday in Tally.
2. Play at the Georgia Dome on Saturday.
3. Propose another mutually agreeable scenario for playing the game.

If the ADs can't reach a joint decision on how, when, and where to play the game, then both teams forfeit the game and take an L.

That would preserve the game and shut this type of tomfoolery down in the future!

It is interesting that the commissioner chose to back the AD that is leaving at the risk of antagonizing one that he will have to work with in the future.

The way the Sankey is getting hammered in the media I am shocked he is not coming out and at least being more vocal on the whole situation. Obviously if he had any balls he would have a conference call with both schools and say we are playing and no one gets off this call until we have worked out the details.
