and what did these tard coaches say about Auburn before last season?

they had a lot of growing up to do up front. It all depends on how those guys develop. If they don’t get better up front, their team won’t be better. There really wasn’t one from last year that stood out, at least not compared to the standard LSU has set for that spot.”
End of discussion! The D-line was weak last year both against the run and rushing the passer. If the d-line isn't any better this season, LSU is at least a 4 loss team.

so A&M will be "good" on defense and LSU won't be?
awesome
ETA: A&M was dead last in total defense in 2013

After reading some of the other guys, they were pretty tame on us. They said some stupid shite, but otherwise pretty tame. They seem to have a hard on for Ole Miss though.
ETA: some of the shite they said was pretty ridiculous.

Seems fair. Our defense didnt have any huge impact players last year. I like our corners but the front 7 scares me

Remember when the 2011 preseason all SEC selections were announced and the Arkytards flooded the Tiger Rant laughing at us because no one (except maybe -can't remember - TM?) was chosen by either the SEC coaches or media experts? Lots of Ha, Ha, Ha, tdecline, etc. The fact that we are putting the most players in the NFL is a hateful thing to other SEC coaches. It really pisses them off because it's very hard to neg recruit against; our Recruiting classes aren't top 5 every year (we've only had one top 5 I think in the past 5 years and that was last year, iirc),so it means LSU develops players better than, or as good as, anyone in Div. 1 football, especially our freshmen. The fans want a NC above all things, but the players want the NFL above all things (not saying a NC isn't a huge deal to players). LSU = NFLU; yes, we have our issues to deal with and some of them are serious, but still, LSU = NFLU and that's a fact. Anonymous SEC coaches can

I have to believe the talent behind ego and freak will be better and have deeper depth

I wouldn't worry too much about. Someone thinks Bama is an 8 win team on paper as well. They ripped everybody, as it makes more interesting copy. No one wants to read "Hey, this guy is good" about teams we already know are good.

I didn't realize bama lost so much in the secondary to be quite honest

I've added a guess as to who said these comments.
While that would be great, a SEC coach actually said this? guess Bilemma
Weird, Defense is obviously their weakness. One of the East flunkies.
While true, pretty ballsy to say even while anonymous. My guess here is Ole Miss coach.

They said the same shite last year

Most reasonable assessment of every team (especially Bama) I've seen yet.

I see this is a good thing. Flying under the radar is cool with me.

Pretty interesting to try and figure out who said what here.
I doubt Saban, Miles, or Richt would take that bait.
SOS in contrast might be responsible for half.
Chizik is a new guy, can't read him yet.
Sumlin is pretty cocky, but doesn't come across as a shite talker.
Ole Miss coach, yes don't even know his name w/o looking it up, seems brash enough to say a few.
Miss St, Arkansas coaches...who knows but with not being accountable, the bottom feeders may have decided to mouth off some.
Missouri/Pinkel...a complete unknown to me.
Florida/Muschamp...nah
East nobodies...UT, UK, and Vandy. Prolly a good source of sour grapes here.

#2 rated recruiting class.
Best believe it was Bielema

Auburn
Opposing coaches size up the Tigers:
“Auburn’s biggest problem was trying to be a pro-style offense with spread-type personnel. They didn’t have many guys who you had to worry about. They had the one good receiver, Emory Blake. He was okay. The tight end (Philip Lutzenkirchen) was a unique weapon for them; he made some plays for them, but then he got hurt." …
"Both Tre Mason and Onterio McCalebb were good. McCalebb tore it up at the combine, and Mason was a 1,000-yard back." …
"It came down to the quarterback. They never really decided on a quarterback and never figured that out. (Clint) Moseley and (Kiehl) Frazier didn’t end up being what they anticipated. I’m not sure what is going to happen at that position with (Gus) Malzahn taking over." …
"Malzahn has an outstanding reputation. It is a little different when you are the head coach than just the offensive coordinator, but he knows what he is doing. Him and Hugh Freeze have similar backgrounds — they both have taken high school offenses and made them big-time college offenses. They try to out-tempo you and out-formation you." …
"The tackling is suspect. The defense wasn’t overly physical. It’s a really athletic team. They had some ballplayers. They were really young, so there wasn’t much consistency there." …
"They’ve had a mess of distractions this offseason and probably just want to get back to football.”
