Has anyone caught this on the SEC Network. It's a round table type discussion with Les Miles, Hugh "Bucky Larson" Freeze, Mark Richt, Gary Pinkel, and Nick Saban.

I like Miles, but man, there's a noticeable contrast in comprehension of his answers and the other coaches. My wife was watching it and every time he answered, she was like "I don't think he understood the question."

I guess this is part of his deal, but Michael Bonnet where you at?

Meaning Miles makes no sense. His answers made no sense in relation to the question asked.

There's a difference between him not understanding the question and your wife not understanding the response.

He does. You just have to think about what he is saying a little longer. Everything he says has something to do with the question. It's just not the black or white answer you want.

Miles understands the question. He just makes sure you don't understand his answer.

no one understood the response. The other coaches were sitting there like "what the ... did he just say?"

Pics of wife? Since she clearly isn't very smart, I'm hoping she's hot.

Most like to say this is part of his charm and grand design. Truthfully, he is not a very coherent communicator. He may know what he is thinking, but he can't get his point across, even when he wants to.

Thats pretty good Guava.
I saw some of that show and for a guy dying for anything related to SEC football, I found it terrible TV. Those guys hated being there, it was just awkward.

you know it's funny every time I see something like this.

go watch any video of him mic'd up talking to a player. there is no stammering, no "wants". go watch his pregame speeches to his team. the man trolls the media on a daily basis. you just need to realize he does it because he doesn't give a damn about you, only the team matters.

His problem is listening and responding thoughtfully to questions. Yes, he can initiate comments to a player and give a canned presentation. If he is trolling, he sure does make himself look bad in comparison to his competitor coaches.

I understood him very well. I liked his response to "what's the most important position besides QB" as well as "expectations". I can tell your wife does not listen very well.

The format was awkward, and the set was odd. The spacing between the coaches made no sense. I don't think any of those coaches wanted to be there. I think they all hated the format.

Oh, and frick Bucky. What an arse.

I like that my coach's perceived weakness is speaking to the worthless media. It sure beats not being a great recruiter, developer of talent, or just rock solid when pressure arrives.
Anyone ever seen him sweat? He is one tough @@#%&*!

Miles enjoys speaking like this when the media is around; he had a great teacher btw.

Miles doesnt give a darn about any of this, he is honing his closing skills on the recruiting trail and may have become the absolute best in the business.

Miles can always have a "problem" for not listening and responding thoughtfully to a reporter; wouldnt bother me a bit. In fact, I now get pumped when Les is on the mike, because i know without a doubt Im going to get at least a cringe or a giggle, if not both. The cringes, like your wife and u had the other day are very enjoyable for me these days. Ive learned to just smile along with ole Les when he's speaking Alien.
