Does your taf donation with season tickets go towards your priority points?

I think TAF fee and Tradition Fund go to points. Ticket costs do not. You get more credit for philanthropic donations than you do the above. 1 point for every $1K for tickets. 2 points for every $1K Philanthropic.

And they are very appreciative. We donate to an academic department. We were invited to a nice reception this year and got to meet the dean and several professors. The same amount donated to TAF wouldn't even have merited a second glance.

If you mean the tradition fee that accompanies the cost of each season ticket, then no, it doesn't go toward your points. Not a total loss, however, as I understand, this fee can be written off on your taxes.

Money given to the LSU Alumni goes towards your priority points.

I also got priority points a few years back when I won some items in silent auctions at LSU events. (The Tiger Tour with all the coaches?)

Yes. Tradition fund goes toward your priority points, which are used for away game and postseason ticket distribution.

Tradition fund does not go to your philanthropic point total though, which is used for new season ticket distribution and season ticket upgrades.

TAF donation for the right to purchase tickets does get you priority points...I do not thing tradition fund contributions do, though.

You must not be donating very much to TAF. I've gotten court side seats for basketball, suite tickets for baseball, suite tickets and sideline passes for football. Also got to attend private practices for football and many other things plus gifts from my TAF guy.

Congrats on meeting the Dean and the professors though.

TAF and Tradition fund donations goes towards your priority ranking which is used for bowl game tickets and road game tickets.

New season tickets and season ticket relocations goes by philanthropic ranking which is everything you donate on top of your TAF/Tradition fund donation to programs like in the link below.

You also get minor credit for money spent on team support clubs, like Coach's Committee and Gridiron Club.
