Should Miles have gotten some advice from Payton on how to attack the Bama defense? Please avoid the drew brees comments. It's a serious question. Nothing wrong with going to a brilliant guy like Payton when you are up against something as stout as bama's defense.

Probably couldn't hurt, but we've never heard of Miles going to coaching peers outside of his team for advice. Maybe he's too proud.

LSU fans who are Saints fans should boo Gregg Williams for as long as he is a Saints coach. I will be writing letters to Sean to find a replacement defensive coordinator in the off-season.

If Miles couldn't even substitute a QB change, no amount of reasoning from even the most brilliant minds would have helped him this game.

Why? If Smart used Greg Williams to help him with the defensive scheme what could it have hurt?

I wish Sean would come spend the whole off season with us and implement his offense

i heard greg williams gave bama some tips from an earlier post but really wonder why any NFL coach would give a shite in the middle of a playoff run to a bunch of college teams, even though it's the BCSNCG

Wouldn't have to be Payton, would be nice if he went to someone like Malzahn or McCarthy

Payton had a playoff game tobworry about. I don't think he or Williams gives a frick how the teams attacked each other. If either of them gave any advice I'm assuming it would be real quick.
