HAHA LSU has around 50 players in the NFL so The Saints would have to go out of their way to only end up with 1 LSU player on the whole team. BTW LSU has won a few championships with those same players we are talking about so "special treatment" for a few hometown boys every now and then is really not too much to ask

We wasted a pick on Al Woods a few years ago. He sucked. I'm not sure what LSU player you think we should have picked up? We have one the most talented rosters in the NFL and the good LSU players go high. We look for value picks

Payton has worn LSU hats at press conferences before and gone to LSU games. This is a non-issue. Now if it was Bama though....

Doesn't matter to me if he talks to an LSU opponent. I was born & raised in Louisiana and have never been a Saints fan. I pulled for the Colts in the Super Bowl against the Saints, so it doesn't upset me in the least that he gives another team a pep talk.

It was Alabama last year before the NCG game. I am sure he knew one of his staff was talking with the Alabama coaches.

How does he look like a dumbass? The guy lives in the area and was probably asked to do it as a favor. It's North fricking Texas man, do you really think this helps them in any way for Saturday's game? I could maybe see you getting upset had he given a speech to Bama or something the week of that game, but geez this is a complete non issue.
