Nice for the offense, but they are scrimmage stats.

It could be read as:

DBU gives up 227 yds and 4 TDs
Front 7 allows 9.2 yards per carry
DBU allows frosh WR 4 rec for 89 yds
LT gives up 2 sacks
LBs allow 9 rec by TE's for 114 yds

Can be read many ways but White, Toliver, Jackson, and Battle didnt play. Dee had a 63 yd TD so basically one blown assignment, Fournette first run approx for 30 yds.

Great news about BH...if he takes ownership and responsibility for the Offense outcome, that can only be good news for the entire team...jmho

From Jim Kleinpeter Tweets from earlier post (ICYMI):

Miles: We threw for 406 yards and rushed for 243 yards. The leading passer was
Brandon Harris. 21 atts with 15 or 16 comp, 227 yds, 4 TDs

Miles: Leonard Fournette was the leading rushing: 7 carries, 65 yards.
Dee Anderson had 4 catches for 89 yards and a 63-yard touchdown catch

Coach Miles: Donnie Alexander had 7.5 tackles to lead the defense. Arden Key had two sacks, and Davon Godchaux had 5 tackles.

#LSU coach Les Miles: I liked the crispness of the tackles, very few broken tackles. Adams made a nice tackle on Fournette.

He tackled him and sent him backwards at the line. Which is impressive, even in practice.

Yawn!!!

Spring acrimmage numbers mean exactly jack shite.

Absolutely NOTHING of any substance can come from these things other than a bad injury.

I did not say shut them down. The serve a valuable purpose for the coaches. Especially when installing new systems.

My point was that you idiots come in here and have a giant circle jerk over the stats that, at best mean nothing and at worst are completely fabricated by Miles.

We are missing our top 3 corners and a safety who could push to start this year. That total is actually reasonable. Remember when Mett lit up a bunch of walk ons and 3rd stringers in the 2013 spring game?

Beckwith himself said he's about 80% at best and White didn't play. Also, it's friggin Leonard Fournette. We have a lot of first timers at LB and guys learning the defense.

Plus our offensive players are insanely talented. If we can EVER get the QB position good for consecutive years, LSU will take over the SEC.

In general I agree with your thoughts, but how about not clicking in these threads if this kind of info gets your pecker all shriveled up?

Really like to see him lay the would more. We've been missing that aggressive component on or defense for a while now.

LSU coach les Miles said offensive guard Will Clapp probably won't practice the rest of the spring because of a sports hernia.

"I don't know that Will Clapp will be back," he said. "(It's a) sports hernia, one of those things you can get fixed in a couple of weeks."

Clapp, a freshman All-America pick who played right guard most last season, missed both practices this week and did not participate in Saturday's scrimmage. He had been working mostly at left guard
