I'm curious to hear if Mettenberger looked strong again but still struggled against our D.

From what ive been hearing, mett is the clear starter and he has a cannon of an arm. But Stephen Rivers looks even better than Mett on days throwing the ball

Rivers is really starting to fill out his frame. And, for as awkward as his throwing motion looked on film in High-School, it actually looks pretty solid in the clips of practice throws so far this Spring.

Won't know that until he actually plays a down so let's be slow to praise him

looks like he is starting to develop nicely however

Exactly. We won't know anything for sure until Mett and Rivers play a meaningful game. The best qb is the one who can manage a team with very few mistakes and can make plays when they are there to be made. Having the phyiscal ability is just a small part in being a good qb. I hopefully Mett/Rivers have the mental part down as well. LSU nation has suffer too long with below average qb play.

Isn't this the thread where we declare allegiance to a qb? If so put me down for Team Randall.

Sorry, I've got nothing this week. Forgot there was even a scrimmage.

When i do catch one, I'll be focusing on WR, LB, and the backup QBs most.

The QBs are all looking great. Future all Americans. Everyone is looking strong, fast, and smart.
Lots of guys look like men among boys. They players are really focused. The coaches are yelling alot. The grass looks really green.

Hope this helps.

A WR was nicked. OL looked good. Defense consists of 11 guys imitating Norse Berserkers...
