"I think where it made a huge impact is these young kids who have not committed. Malachi Dupre, Speedy Noil, Leonard Fournette and D'haquille Williams. You got a glimpse of someone who made it happen at crunch time. The impression he made on his teammates for 2014 and future Tiger players can't be measured right now, but it was impressive, very impressive."

I concur, that was just a statement of what those kids should think about near the end of their recruiting... the future does look bright and it will look much brighter if all or most of these guys listed commit.

Scott Long asked the question.

Detillier made a statement. The post was the answer to the question.

This was the question.
Give me your thoughts on Anthony Jennings and how he responded on that last drive?

He's right. It also gives Landry and Beckham a lot to think about if they were considering coming back. Most were saying leave because Jennings wouldn't be able to get them the ball like Mett did. From that drive it looks like Jennings will be more than capable of doing so.

I'm sure they knew this, considering they practice with him daily. Doubt that drive had anything to do with their decision. That being said, I think one of the two may be back.

So Detillier strategically knew which name to leave out in there? Nice.

I am so sick of hearing these guys names constantly. I am not a fan of 24 hour, around the clock recruiting info...these guys just need to commit somewhere and get it over with so we can get on with the rest of our lives.

Hes absolutely right... no big time WR prospect feels safe committing to a school with an unknown at QB.

They saw what Jennings can do and that has to put there mind at easy. And even if its just a little bit, that helps.

Guessing OP forgot to finish the thought started in the Subject. Post SHOULD read as follows:

Subject
Scott Long asks Mike Detiller a Question about AJ's last drive...

Beginning of Post

...and here is the answer, "I think where it made..."

Or OP could provide a link to it and instead of this thread talking about whether or not it was a question it could talk about the answer.

LINK

The answer is that no doubt about that, it should help our receiving recruits come to the right decision.

First down at your own 1 with a freshman. A drive for a touchdown done with his legs and feet. All with a "makeshift" o line. Give the kid credit for poise and guts. Also excited to have a QB with feet.

I am very excited to see that he doesn't have "happy feet". He looked like a pocket passer who can morph into "Cam Newton Mode" instead of throwing the ball away or forcing it. Maybe Cam has helped with this?

To which name are you referring? He left out a few.
