Does the fond memories of Miles fade pretty quickly?

Looking back I think Miles just flat out missed some nice hardware the year of Jamarcus and 3 other 1st round picks

2011s blown opportunity

And at least one of Metts years, if not both

I will always look back and be proud of his 11 year tenure and smile. Always.

Les Miles is literally the most successful coach in LSU'history. I think his legacy here is just fine.

It should be said that the new coach won with Miles players and team. This is the ridiculous double standard that our dumbass fanbase has.

Theres no doubt, but thats the frustration. Knowing that the players are there, and that Miles cant win with them

I was 12 when Miles came in and I'm 22 in his last season. I grew to love this sport only knowing LSU football being synonymous with Les Miles. I was in my freshman year in TGBFTL for 2011, not winning the national championship but I got to personally watch my Tigers achieve the first and only 13-0 season in LSU history. My fond memories of Miles' tenure will never fade.

I hate having this happen but it's completely necessary. It's like growing up again and slowly realizing your dad doesn't know everything. You challenge him, fight him, want him gone. Now you've moved away to college and realize how much you love him.

If that's the standard, it'd come full circle for Fisher. He was here during the resurrection. That'd be my response to anyone saying that.

Loved 2005-2007 and 2010-2013

34-6
National Championship
BCS Sugar Bowl win
2 SEC Championship appearances
SEC Championship

44-9
National Championship appearance
SEC Championship

During the offseason, I really thought he would change his ways when Harris was declared starter and all the nice things about opening up the offense. Slowly realized they were hand-cuffing Harris, but obviously he needed it. Some time during the Arkansas game, I realized that he'd never be able to reach those heights, in those two stretches I posted above, ever again.

Loved him during his time despite his flaws. He needs to go out on top with a big win Saturday.

With that said, I'm ready to see Jimbo and all his QB coaching glory, start a dynasty at LSU. He used the perfect blue print of pro style offense, great running game, great defense, tons of talent, and excellent QB play.

Not fade, but I think it softens the hit.

I sincerely hope Les will be remembered fondly by Tiger faithful. He is/was a great representative of this university
