Was a bouncer at Murphy's in the offseason back in the day. Pretty sure they wouldn't let players do that that now

It doesn't exist any more. It used to be in the strip mall outside the north gate that was torn down for condos. Bennett Murphy moved to New Mexico and runs a dude ranch now. I am not shitting you.

Roland was a beast who reminded me of Lyle Alzado - very intimidating

Barbay is a former Tiger I'd rather forget. He took a really flagrant cheap-shot at Ole Miss's Kent Austin, and broke his leg. He's an embarassment to our school.

Barbay really belongs in the SEC Douchebag Hall of Fame with Chaz Ramsey and Dillon Day (see below).

I ran into him at a Southdowns bar back in the day. His thighs were each as thick as my chest.

Do a little checking and you will find Murphy's did not end on a good note.

Went to Holy Cross with him back in the day. There was a lot of buzz around school about the new Z28 he got with his jersey number on the license plate after he signed with LSU if I remember correctly.

I seem to remember he had a personalized license plate LSU-77 or something similar to that.

If I'm not mistaken, Barbay worked for TJ Ribs as a manager for a while. Seems that I met him at the coach's radio show.

Anyone else from BR remember this?

He is from Chalmette and grew up with money. His truck was not from LSU I can assure you of that. I know the family

When you said Tiger from the past, for some reason I thought of the Eldrick who could break 80 and make cuts. Those were good times.
