Lee looks good whenever he knows he won't be hit. He's scared to take a hit.

You guys don't remember all of those passes he just spiked into the ground at the RB's feet or the ball's he threw up for grabs to avoid taking a hit?

If Lee ever got over his happy feet in the pocket, he has all the physical tools to be a good, not great QB for us. However, I'd argue mentality is a larger part of being a QB and Lee doesn't have it at this point.

Granted, Jefferson is not very good. His passes are very inaccurate if he has to hit a guy on the move and his 3 stooges looking release hurts, but at least he can run and he doesn't turn the ball over. He at least keeps us in the game.

Either way our QB situation is totally in disarrary unless one of these guys is able to step up.

I just don't see how everybody thinks this guy is gonna come in and be a savior. I could see him being good but I see him red shirting his first year (if he even gets to campus in the fall)with JJ, JL, and CG, no reason to waste a year of eligibility for everyone

Which is pretty obvious it you will look at his release.

He throws off his back foot not cause he was taught that way, he is scared of getting hit.
Plan and simple, dude's a pussy.

Man, that's uncalled for. The dude gets booed more than any player I can recall in LSU football and lost his starting position. EVEN THEN, he never quit. The dude has more balls than you could ever hope to have.

That said he does get happy feet and is really gunshy of taking hits. I retract saying he's scared to take a hit, as that was not what I meant. It's all mental with Lee. That's the frustrating thing. The arm is there for him to be a great pocket QB.

link? all I've ever heard is that they have complete faith in Jefferson. Hell, they all quit on Lee when he started in 2008 because he was awful.

The link is.....was told to me by one of the players over the weekend. Jefferson has all the upside. I wish he would grab the bull by the horns and take control of this, but this does not seem to be happening for what ever the reason is. We really should not even be talking about this.

If only he could wear this jersey all the time...

Kidding aside, I agree that you've got to give JL props for sticking around after all the crap.

I sure as hell hope Lee looked better. Like Books said that's the worse Jefferson has ever looked in any game for whatever reason. Can't take too much from that unless Jefferson had been looking that bad in practice which I doubt.
