Love to hear stories of athletes coming back and advancing their professional career.
Cheers to Mark and moving forward in a successful career!
For those who might need a refresher, Mark was a damn solid OF on the baseball team several years back.

I was expecting that gif when I saw the name and wasn’t disappointed.

Congrats! A cool story bro of him is I played against him in the State Championship game his freshman year of high school. He hit his first homer in high school in that game and they ended up winning 6-5. Still have nightmares to this day. SMH

That oufield with Laird, Stevenson and Fraley was one of the best.

His wife is my son's orthodontist and they just had a baby. She's really nice and does a great job. Really happy for him and his family.

Mark decided he wanted to be a vet that day when he took the temperature of that pussy

Most sincere congrats to Dr. Laird. Vet school is so competitive and difficult to get into, he must have killed it as an undergrad.
Dude was a hell of an outfielder as well, very solid in all aspects of the game.

One of the best gifs ever created! I also knew that there was a %100 chance that it would show up in this thread.

You’re getting downvoted on this comment, which is more of an indictment on the cucks of this board than the merits of the post.

Laird, Stevenson and Frailey was the best defensive outfield we’ve ever had.

Lairds diving catch in RF (while playing CF) to bail out a lost Sean McMullen is still one of my favorite spots on TV. Cameraman is focused on McMullen in right field then 20 ft behind him is a sprinting laird who the camera then follows to the diving catch. McMullen had to be 50 ft from the ball.
