Seems like it would be more of a depth chart issue. Wisconsin will not throw out a lot of WR heavy sets like Tex Tech did in bowl game. Not a big need for DB's.
Would have liked to have seen. Would think it would help with our IMG influence if he at least made the trip.

Not going to away games as a freshman doesn't mean much. Guys that end up redshirting don't travel with team. Can't take everyone.

The pregame attrition is somewhat irksome. Lacouture, Washington, Herron, Anderson, Smith, and Clapp (who is supposedly in a walking boot - supposedly).

Anderson and Smith weren't going to see the field barring a blowout or unprecedented in game injury bug. Herron and Washington were second string and Valentine kind of replaces Lacouture. Clapp is supposedly ok but even if he isn't we have Tehuma there as the 6th oline men ready to fill in.

I agree I do t want to bash them but a couple days before one of the biggest games and you get suspended I just don't understand

The actual suspension could've been assessed in the spring. This is just the 1st game it could've been served.
