The whole point of the skit is that all of those people relocated to Maine after Katrina.

Wow that was hard to watch. The one with Jamie Foxx was great, though.

In the last three or so years it's been as good as it was in the glory years, imo. Go back to watching Big Bang Theory.

You must think the 90s were the "glory years"

Should have quit Maine Justice after first installment. The second one was painful. A poor man's cajunman.

Even though it is an inaccurate bastardization of our culture, I like it because its more national exposure.

That was arguably the worst SNL skit I have ever seen.

The beginning is regarded as the glory years. The '90s are certainly better than what they have now.

The first Maine Justice skit was funny because of the element of surprise. This one was just repeating the same stuff.

Not the worst, but I've seen very few the last 10 years. So, I'll be that guy. What am I missing? Why Cajuns in Maine? Is there any connection? Would it be the same idea if you had a bunch of 'Pok the cah' Bostonians in say Arizona?

I think it's a comedic juxtaposition that takes a little getting used to, but I think it's funny.

Go watch the Main Justice episdoe with Jamie Fox and you'll understand better when you watch the Justin Timberlake episode. The Jamie Fox one had me laughing more but the Justin one was cool just bc of the LSU and Saints shout outs

And you must think I'm a teenager or a college student. I've been watching the show since the 70's, and this era is quality relative to that.

The premise is the Maine justice reality court room show is "set" in Maine but filmed in Louisiana with Louisiana people because it is cheaper here

That is what I got, it has nothing to do with Katrina. They are suggesting what you stated because so many reality shows are filmed here due to the tax credits.
