Regardless of who wins, both teams will be in the playoffs assuming both win out after Saturday. There’s no way a one-loss LSU team gets left out of playoffs with the schedule they’ve played. I’m hoping we win, but I believe our safety net is there.

It may feel like that sometimes, but in reality everyday matters. We only get so much time on this planet, take advantage of every moment. Go try heroin.

Saturday does matter.

The satisfaction of Mike the Tiger taking a hot, steamy shite on the 50 yard in Tuscaloosa will be wonderful.

If Bama loses they aren’t in over 12-1 OU or 12-1 Oregon

LSU still has 3 games to play after this one. There's no guarantee they win them all. Crazy shite happens all the time.

We need Oregon to lose another game. I think bama gets in no matter what (because it's bama). If Oregon wins the Pac 12
and we lose don't know if they will keep a conference champion out. Really not worried about it because I think this is our year no matter what.

The frick it doesn't. Recruiting is a big deal between these two teams. If LSU can't beat Bama with this team, when can we beat them? This game is just about everything at this moment in time for LSU as a program. Plus, I'm tired of losing to those arse wranglers. This our time. This is our Heisman moment. This is our division now. This is our oppurtunity to go win another SEC championship. This is how we ensure a playoff spot. This is our time.

Unpopular opinion, but I think you’re right* as far as it pertains to our playoff hopes.

This shite goes deeper than the playoffs though. We NEED to beat those fricking Gumps silly, and kill this monkey on our back.

*as long as it’s a close, competitive game

bullshite. If there are 3 other undefeated teams, which is very possible, there will not be 2 SEC teams in the playoff. If Baylor beats OU in two weeks and runs the table, they're in. Clemson is already in, they have a weak arse schedule in a down ACC. The winner of Ohio State / Penn State is in. And the winner of LSU / Bama is likely in.

Point is, there is a chance we don't make the Playoff if we drop this one. Saturday matters A LOT.

We need this win for the program to finally put 1/9 in the rear view.
