The one loss, on the road is no big deal...You take that and be happy. There was alot of lollygagging going on, and thats what Maneri will be pissed at. Gave up some unearned runs on routine plays, and they benched Jones because of lack of whatever..Glenn pitched his arse off, and no one else seemed to GAF. Oh well, its a long season, and you need these games to learn from. I'm sure there was some education after the game, and a few will remember the dogpile....

That 2009 team must have really had no killer instinct. They only swept one series the entire year.

The negatiger in my family was bitching nonstop about the loss today. Rhymes can't hit good pitching, Katz has peaked and is on the way down, etc.

I am friends with a couple of those types....and I have learned through the years to totally stay away from them after any loss. They are totally irrational.
I have one friend that I refuse to discuss LSU football with because of his irrational hate for Les Miles. The friend is just stubborn and borderline stupid about it, so I never bring it up around him.

Wow. Just...wow. The one thing that does annoy me ,though, is that in just about any year 20 wins will get you the SEC title, but Vandy just happens to be having an incredible season as well and we don't get to play them in the regular season.
That said, I've been following LSU baseball since my college days in the late '80s and a guy who has forgotten more about college baseball than either of us will ever know by the name of Skip Bertman always said that your goal is 2/3 every weekend. Do that, and you win the conference.
Wanted the sweep, but VERY happy with 2/3 on the road. As for Vandy, these things have a way of balancing out. I see them dropping some games down the stretch.
