Sad that Miles was so stubborn he was unable to see this prior to getting fired.

Obviously, everyone knows on TD that Miles is stubborn as hell it has been discussed at length here. But it is sad to see that the threat of getting fired last year was not enough for him to think this way, that he actually had to get fired to change his thoughts on offense.
Now I wonder if he is saying that just to try and get another high profile gig or if he truly understands that he has to adapt his offensive philosophy in order to win in college football.

Love the guy but I still don't believe it.
He said similar for years here only to not change at all. Now it's another administration that will have to take that gamble.
Hope they have $$$ and an elite talent base, Miles was .500 in his last 10 games with the highest paid staff money could buy and Louisiana talent all too himself

No matter what job Miles gets, he will not have near the talent he had at LSU.
And he will be going up against teams with more resources than his.

I would have said this had he been fired last November as he should have. Instead he was given a second chance to wake up and smell the coffee and didn't do a goddamn thing to implement a vaguely unpredictable and efficient offense. At this point I don't care what becomes of Miles.

Water under the bridge. This is a strategy by his agent, Trace Armstrong. Miles is going to say what everyone wants to hear, just like he did to us year after year and then pound the rock out of the I-formation.

If this is true, then frick Miles. All this fricker did was waste talent at LSU. Why didn't Miles do this when he was head coach at LSU? He had numerous chances to re-vamp the offense, but was too stubborn to change what he was doing, despite the fact it was all there, clear as crystal, the offense was not working. And NOW he decides to study these great offenses and bring in a young coordinator? Almost seems like he wanted LSU to fire him.
