Chiznik voted OSU 5th. Did Saban pay him off?

But the week before he had OK Sate at 3 and Stanford at 4. So in beating Oklahoma like they did, it warranted DROPPING a spot?!?

Could you link this..I don't think it is released every week but the last one.

It was in his best interest. Self-serving? Yes. Dick move? no.

Illogical for anybody to put Stanford ahead of Oregon? Maybe.

It's funny how LSU's success was the only deciding factor in getting 'Bama to this game.

It took away a point from Okie St to pad the distance from Bama in the ratings. There were a four other coaches that voted similar to Saban.

His vote definitely speaks to his lack of character.

Saban is a classless whore. First thing he did when he got to Alabama was try to use his connections (obtained by being the LSU coach) to get Louisiana players. And he came back in our to the SEC and the same division. I don't understand those "fans" who defend him.

He would have voted OSU lower if he could have gotten away with it IMO. The fact that people here defend his vote proves that it was a smart move, albeit unethical.

After seeing Saban's poll, I have never felt more proud to have Les Miles as the Head Coach of LSU. He would never have done this cheap move. Saban has little moral fiber and does only what's best for him, regardless if it's the stand-up thing to do. Call Les what you want, but I rather a college kid learn how to be a man from Miles over Saban anyday...

SABAN IS A LIAR. "WHAT CAN I SAY I AM NOT GOING TO BE THE HEAD COACH AT ALABAMA".

And Miles voted Michigan 8th helping them get to 13th in the BCS and get into the BCS in front of two teams that are much higher ranked in the BCS in Boise and K State. Mich wasn't even eligible for BCS bowl last week til the coaches bumped them this week.
So is Miles a dick too?

You need to ask why do coaches get a say in their own teams going to national title games?

BTW, Any coach that complains about Bama getting in needs his nuts kicked. Those fools are the reason Bama got in. All they had to do was drop them down in their polls and Okie would have jumped.

Yes he would. Can you imagine the fallout in here if Miles didn't and it cost them a shot at a particular bowl game. All you would hear is how Miles didn't even have his own teams back and how he betrayed his own team. A coach's job is to do what is best for THEIR team no one else's

The people in here put Miles on such a high pedestal and will critize Saban for how he sneezes because it "shows what a dick he is"

It is insane how obsessed people still are about Saban. Get on with your lives.

We all know that Miles lets the SID fill out his ballot, though he may have some input. Miles is more of an executive, CEO-type HC - he dabbles in offense, but that's about it.

Of ALL of the coaches who have a vote in the poll, which one do you think most likely retains the authority to fill it out himself, and goes over every possible consequence of voting various ways as to who he scores the top 25 teams?

Hint: Rhymes with "Satan"...

Nick Saban is not good enough to coach LSU. His moral character with extramarital affairs is news worthy. He will sell his grandmother out for a 1000 dollars. Nick is an ego maniac who only cares about himself. It doesn't surprise me how he treats his players. They play for him out of fear and being criticized. Les Miles is the anti-Saban. Saban may win his 3rd BCS championship but I think most of the acclaimed coaches in both CFB and the NFL know what kind of a-hole and low life that Saban really is. LSU is better off with Miles than Saban anyday bc Miles represents moral and ethical character. Hopefully, young recruits will wise up soon enough and see the slime ball Saban truly is.

A Bama fan I know claimed Saban had Stanford above OSU in previous polls, but I haven't really cared enough to look this up.
