When Saban took LSU job job in 1999 was tigerdroppings around? Just curious if it was and did anyone see this coming?

Tiger Roar was the main board at the time. If I recall, the reaction was primarily "who?".

Man I know for a long time that site wasn't allowed to be mentioned here and was instantly deleted for years (not sure why as this sites format was always way better from the get go). But they were for a while the "go to" site. I enjoyed that site. To be clear I much prefer this one and it is way better than that one was even in its prime. But they were good so what ever happened to them? I always assumed it had to be the same people running this one or a break off as they were both groundbreaking in their own way.

It's been a long time since I posted there, I helped the guy that ran it out a little with some coding, but he really had no admin interface and had a real troll problem. He basically made it a pay site as a way to address that, but TD started about the same time and took a lot of posters away.

That other site still exists as a pay for membership site.
I think the admin is Scott and I've seen him at Les Miles radio show as well as at the Bayou Bash.

Evil Twins and others were the mainstay of that board. We're all talking about the same site and it's been mentioned above, but I won't name it in respect for this board.

Scott and Tim were great guys and still are. But Saban a came out of nowhere on that coach search. If I remember tubbyville was the name mentioned the most on most sites back then.
