One of my favorite Tigers of all time! Wish him good luck in the future, he has more rings than alot of players can dream of (college and pro)

Scored the winning runs in two of those championships too! He definitely has a lot to look back on. Loved his attitude.

He's the type of player who you can admire, he wouldnt be the guy on the highlight reel every day, but he was out there busting his arse more than the people who did.

He did last year, just finally made it official. Great ambassador for LSU

He was one of the candidates to replace Keith Moreland in the Cubs radio booth. Had fun watching him play ball.

Comes from a great BR family too. Will be very successful beyond a memorable baseball career.

Very happy for Ryan and all...

But a high school buddy, one a year behind me, is "retiring" from him job at 33 (maybe 34) years old.

That's a little depressing

Can't play forever. Not everyone is like Mariano Rivera

I'm sure he'll find something to do, it's not like his working career is over.

No...depressing for ME! As I drive into work at 6:30 this morning to mangage 50 bitchy women in an attempt to pay down student loan debt, my former buddy is "retiring" fml!

Completely tongue in cheek, btw. Very happy for him.

The article says something about him wanting to become an agent. Not sure how credible

Yo, double true.
I wish he had some sort of presence at the school. Not that anyone going there currently would give a shite about who RT was. But a poster or a placard or something would be nice.
