Clapp, our starting center, said very good things about Harris' development. I would think he knows a little bit first hand.
I certainly want to believe that BH will start and do well, but regarding Clapp's comments, what would you expect him to say? RSF getting the start at center is going to bash the potential starting QB before the first snap? Not likely.

BTW, I'll take one of those paintings, too!

not going to be one of the few quarterbacks in the country who couldn't complete 50% of his passes.

That's because Jennings will improve this year

He's making a guess and hoping he's right, or people have short term memory.

From the film I watched a sample size of Harris work. We will not only be competitive but 10-11 wins maybe in the cards.

I am excluding Miss State because idiots say Dan Mullens pulled his starters which simply isn't 100% true. (Ricky Jefferson wasn't a starter but play significant meaning minutes....does that mean we pulled out staters?)

But looking at Auburn game. He missed on a few throws. 2 very bad misses. Lacked accuracy. But he also threw some good ones. One included a 52 yard strike to Dupre that we scored on the next play.

1. Defense cost us that game.
2. We sucked on Second down. Fumble and Harris did screw up a play call. (Anthony Jennings screwed up the same play call against bama).
3. First down running game was killing it. Was in third and long too much.
Games was over by half time.

When we did finally score. It was 17-7 and Auburn just came right down and score us again. Making it 24-7.

You got that right. Those ESPN commentators are know it alls, but hopefully, they will be pleasantly surprised by BH.

Surely Miles & Cameron won't be silly enough to reward Jennings, who showed poor leadership & judgment in getting himself and 2 teammates into that situation. Since AJ was suspended most of the summer, he can't help but fall even further behind Harris.

Let's hope Harris is reward to assert himself to become the kind of leader this team needs.
