I wouldn't use Hess tonight unless you absolutely had to. I mean do or die.
I wouldn't be surprised if after the game we find out that Hess wasn't available tonight.
Like I said earlier, don't sleep on Hunter Newman. If the game is close and he enters in the 7th or 8th and gets rolling, I still have a lot of confidence in him. I bet if we win the game tonight, a lot of it will be because of Hunter Newman.

Lol at anyone not answering my question and assuming I'm trolling or being negative about tonight.
I'm posting stats and asking why, that is all. Any comments made that don't answer the question are simply not going to be read.
Thanks

Something to be said about a guy that steps up on the biggest of stages and says "Give me the ball."
As for Hess, if you find yourself in a situation where you don't have to run him out there tonight and can seal a win, wouldn't you rather have him at 100% tomorrow with an opportunity to seal a Natty?

He is pitching because he is the best option. He is a leader that has experience, isn't afraid, has talent and the team and coaches are behind him. You have to be confident to truly believe you are the best for your team to win and apparently he is and the coaches agree. frick numbers. Reynolds finna eat!

You realize someone has to start, correct? You make your case for someone else. Apparently, Reynolds--a 5th year SR--stepped up and said he wanted the fricking ball. That was enough for Paul. Enough for me too.
And I am willing to ban bet that if we are up by less than 3 going into the 9th, Hess will get the ball. 90% Hess is better than anybody else we got. You don't cross your fingers and hope somebody else can sneak you out a win--you go out and win the motherfricker.

I've always defended you in your whacky baseball threads but you have lost me with this suck of a thread. Ban yourself until after the CWS ends.

You have to read them to determine that they don't answer the question, dummy.

Hell, why not? Either today or tomorrow, we're going to have to get by with a patchwork staff and a journeyman starter.
May as well be game one to give Poche an extra day's rest to go in game 2 and Lange an extra day's rest for a possible game 3.
