Running list of Joe Alleva's accomplishments at LSU. Positives & Negatives

Trying to keep it legit.
Positives:
Hiring of Will Wade. Buyout is questionable, though
Hiring of Beth Torina
Adding sand volleyball
Building tennis facilty
Building gymnastics facility
Negatives:
Hiring process of Ed Orgeron
Hiring of Johnny Jones
Not firing Les at the end of 2015*
Tennis violations
Football parking disaster
Not firing the volleyball coach
Not firing Caldwell
Dumpster fire that is our non-conference football schedule
Constant delays on the nutritional center*
*IMO, a competent AD would have led to a different outcome
This list does not include his handling of the Duke Lacross rape scandal, which, IMO, should have precluded him from getting the job in the first place.
Please feel free to add.
Positives:

I'm beginning to not even credit him for Wade, as it more sounds like Wade pursued this job more than anything. Now sure he still needed to make the hire, but when you're at your lowest point and a young up and comer is screaming hire me, it makes things easier.

Got sued by your tennis coach
Didn't adminstrate Chief's contract correctly thus resulting in a dispute that has to be litigated
Wanted to oust Miles by holding the staff hostage, thus resulting in the 2015 season with Kevin Steele
Losing the power struggle with Les resulting in the 16 season
Allowing Les to re-sign Cam for some reason
Going to tradition fees for basketball right as Trent Johnson was about to nuke the program.

Now the process of hiring a new coach is all on him...utter disaster and should be fired on that decision alone.

Come on. He likely had more to do with the basketball hire than the football head coach hire. You guys act like coach O was his man and he said forget the rest of the candidates. Alleva was likely told that coach o was the man after things played out behind the scenes.

Alleva kept lowering the bar of expectations for O to get the job, the sham of a search has always lead me to believe he wanted O to be the hire from the start.

Bottom line is Alleva treated the biggest money maker for the athletic dept like the LSU hockey team when hiring a new coach he simply didn't give two shits about who to hire, his lazy arse just didn't wanna put in the work.

Even if it doesn't work out, I give him credit for pulling the trigger on Jones and making a hire that at least looked legitimate at the time it was made.

No disrespect with Torina but at the time at that very moment, we had zero idea we would be this good under her. Compare her and Murphy's resume at the time and its not even close.
Luckily it turned out to be the best to happen to LSU softball. Softball team as well as gymnastics have been the most successful sports on campus by far
he completely lucked out, have a difficult time tryin to credit him
