Okay, I know this not going to be a popular post, but here it goes. I love Charles Scott, nothing negative about him, I know he was Mr. La. etc. However, I feel LSU would be a stronger team if they ran Keiland Williams more, currently 15 carries in 4 games. KW has some unique attributes speed, game breaker, etc, remember Virginia Tech game (2007. Arkansas-McFadden/Jones Auburn-Williams/Brown. There is plenty of room in backfield in the SEC for 2 great backs. More carries for KW.

I think they should snap it directly to him. With TH and Scott back there with him.

HOLY CRAP!!!

CS is the 1st LSU back EVER to gain 100+ yards at Auburn. CS is the 1st LSu back to gain over 100 yds in the first 4 games since Charles Alexander. CS is averaging 130 yds per game. CS is in the Heisman hunt...............but we'd be better giving some of his carries to someone else????

damn......just, damn

Look, I wanted Keiland to succeed also. He is a game-breaking back. But he has had the opportunity to win that job, and he just doesn't have the vision to earn 20 carries a game. He is a big play guy and will have plays designed for him to give him an opportunity to break one.

People don't get that Scott is averaging 7.8 ypc. The OL is getting him around 4, he is getting the extra yard with power and vision, something Williams has not shown

KW is the worst RB in our 4 deep. IMO.

I hate to jump on the bash wagon with everyone else but....

Do you realize that you are wanting to change the single most consistent part of our game? Scott is money.

I'd love for getting Keiland more carries, but at this point, I don't think that's best in the natural flow of the game. If he gets anymore work, it would only be most deserving in a game that's already been sewn up to help give Scott some rest. In the normal scheme, he would serve better in a similar role to Murphy receiving out of the backfield... just not on the telegraphed swing pass.

Some how that is just not sounding right. It doesn't matter if it's true or not, it's just not coming out right. Anyway, hope he gets a few more carries and takes advantage of his opportunity.

Oy vey.

Yes. I agree. having a back who hits the whole directly, with a vengeance is a bad thing.

Having a back who has set LSU ALLTIME records is a bad thing.

Ditching the preeminent power rushing game in favor of Keiland's stutter and fall style would be brilliant.
