I get that it can be an embarrassment for the team getting pelted on, but I’d rather keep getting the work in and keep playing. Baseball is a game of outs. Not runs. I guess it’s so you don’t waste your entire pitching staff.

I don’t love a 10 run rule but when someone is up by 22 it’s time to call it a game.
