Did anyone else notice that RS ALMOST threw a pass after JJ handed the ball off to him? After JJ handed the ball off to him, JJ ran left and was running up the field and RS turned towards him, ball raised as if he was going to throw to JJ but he got blitzed a second too fast. It happened so fast alot of people I think missed it, but, could that have potentially been another les miles trick play in the works?

thought my eyes were playing tricks on me. Ford getting meaningful snaps, Lee hitting on all cylinders, AND a Shep pass? the world woulda ended.

I'm glad I wasn't the only one who caught it lol. Makes me confident that Miles is definitely gonna try some trick plays this year like in 07. frick it, lets just win

The thing I remember about Shep last night is two consecutive sweeps that each lost about 6 yards.
Both were so obvious that everyone in the stadium, including the 4 year girls dressed in Gator cheerleading outfits knew they coming.

That was RS's one opportunity to throw the ball this season, and he blew it. Maybe next year, Shep.

if we ran a zone read with Shep and Lee, but Lee kept, he would probably score untouched.

I think I saw it twice. Definately on the one JJ rolled out on and another earlier. RS ran slowly along the line looking down field and decided to run once nothing was there. I think they are giving him the option and he just is not pulling the trigger.

thanks for bringing this up...there has to be a better way for us to get the ball in sheppard's hands...
at least fake the hand off and dump it over the middle...we should hardly ever see a play when RS touches the balls and we net -6
