In the big 3 its just been rough lately. Yeah I know we won the SEC but that doesn't mean shite, literally no one cares. Its all about CWS. Basketball program seems to be on the rise but still, were like officially Choke U now.

Yeah the top recruiting classes are nice but damn, when will they start to translate in to some post-season wins... In game coaching decisions on all big 3 sports still sucks.

Anyways

Perspective. LSU fans under forty don't have it.

You must have a different mindset than me, I've always been one who doesn't like or is not satisfied with losing. Bringing up the old days doesn't mean anything. Just shows that your fine with being "around the pack", but not striving for more. Yeah i've never been one to let these games ruin my day, but have always loved watching LSU sports and would like to see them get back like they used to.

BTW at least in the 90s we were winning baseball championships lol.

I disagree

LSU had way better seasons this season in basketball and baseball

Look at auburn, same football record, horrible basketball, only won 1 game in baseball in post season.

Don't throw out the golf and softball seasons

No doubt the basketball ball team is improving. Just seems we can't pull out big wins as of lately. Just what I've observed.

I'm not at all suggesting that many of our fans are unique in this perspective, but we really have a lot of folks who seem to "live" and "die" by whether LSU wins a game, a conference championship or a national championship. With them, anything less than a national championship is unacceptable. They seem to think that our opponents should lose just because we are LSU and, if we lose, instead, it's because of our coaches. I've chosen my name based on the carping of some of our fans who seem to expect nothing less undefeated seasons in every sport forever.

The OP may or may not fall within that bunch, but if so, grow up.

Okay, Auburn had a worse year for the big 3? Soo... hooray, not last? We still had disappointing ends to all 3 seasons. I'm satisfied with the baseball season as a whole, but would've liked a championship with all the talent and experience we have in the lineup. Football and basketball underperformed and both were all around disappointing seasons.

I agree that is how a lot of tiger fans are. Just stating that losing a bowl game, choking in our basketball tourney game and going 1-2 in CWS then done isn't what you would call a great ending year for LSU sports. Not a lot of momentum going into the off season's except for the great recruiting. I do think the basketball team will make a solid run in NCAA tourney next year for sure.

Top 5/6 in baseball
Top 5 in softball
National Champs in golf
Top 5 in Men's track
Top 10 in Women's track
Top 10 in gymnastics
Basketball has improved every season under JJ and we have an amazing class coming in

Yeah LSU sports are really in the dumps

perhaps. But what about all of the other SEC athletic departments? Which one do you want to trade with? Top to bottom?

Im just talking about the Big 3 sports and ignoring the others in my post since I do not follow them and don't know much about the teams, out of the big 3. Baseball season as a whole was nice but seems like its about to end on a bad note.
