But Mo Claiborne and Tyran Mathieu were very different than Peterson; much more raw. And he helped mold them into stout CBs.

Mo and Mathieu both blew up every camp they attended. those kids were just as field ready as PP and any perceivable dropoff in production is clearly related to their immense, instinctive talent going early to the league or getting their asses kicked off the team. you need to blame someone? blame fate and kids being kids.

Let's also be fair to Chief and Corey. The young corners are light in the arse. They have trouble coming up and taking on big backs. That is why Mills played more against Arky. Coaches were more concerned with the run game. That thought process worked on the third down throw when a bigger and stronger Mills was able to make the tackle for a key third down stop.

Mills doesn't really come off the field. Rashard gets in on 5+ DB packages.

He started against and played more plays agaisnt the aggies. There was a question about why RR didn't play more agaisnt the piggies.

the was NO question why he didn't play more vs. Arky, you're just not understanding the situations where RR plays. In base sets, Mills is the corner. In nickel and the packages that were used against A&M, RR plays.
