Road Games This Fall

The road schedule this year is brutal. Being in NC I don't get down to BR often (every couple years). I've decided with this year's road schedule to attend 3 venues. Looking to follow the Tigers to Florida, Bama and Tennessee (never been to any of these places). So here is my question. I've found tickets on Stubhub for all 3 games. Can get 2 tickets to each game in the visitors section for $1,000. What do you think about buying tickets so far in advance? Is this a good deal?

In my very limited experience, tickets usually go up in price the closer to game day unless it's a completely shite game. I'd think the 6 tickets for roughly $167 a piece would be a pretty good deal if you are buying second hand.

Just letting you know beforehand, going to games in Gainesville sucks. I'll never go back.

I have fun in Tuscaloosa and Knoxville but Gainesville? Prepare to be harassed by gators and cops.

Gainesville sucks unless you want to tailgate in a bar. I have been there several times because I have military buddies there. But I would not go there if it was not for them.

Tennessee has small seats and Rocky Top is annoying.
Gumps will want to fight you after they lose.
Florida is the worst. Cops and fans harass you in hopes that fewer road fans travel.
Save your trips for BR and come to the Auburn, Arky, and aTm games.

I've been to all three. Tickets are readily available for face value around the gate. Especially Tennessee. I went to Tennessee in 2006 when both teams were in the top 10. Tickets were everywhere for sale.
Bama will be harder to get and would be the only one that I would have in hand before the game.
