Danny Wuerfell looked like he couldn’t throw a pass further than 15 yards…so he hasn’t changed much since his NFL days.

Never forget that Mike Ditka’s Saints traded all of their draft picks for him.

At the time was it known he was a head case? On paper that ain’t a bad deal considering his college career.

No matter if he was a headcase or not, that was a terrible deal. The Saints surely weren't a RB away from winning a title. It was crazy for one player. Ditka didn't last long.

Dude, what?

I’m not even a Saints fan and that is probably the single dumbest draft day decision of all time. Think about it for a second, every single pick was traded away for one player.

Idgaf which generational talent is on the board, you don’t trade your entire draft to get him.

If you were given a hint to match names with Heisman Trophy winners, I think he would have been easy to pick out.

Smoking weed in the 90s and 00s definitely was frowned upon. Today no one would bat an eye at him for smoking weed so he can feel better.

He's actually one of the most intelligent ex-pro football players out there. He is a medical marijuana advocate and owns several dispensaries. He's a very different cat, but a pretty interesting guy.
