Richt was a QB, was an OC and QB coach at FSU, and seemed to usually have really good QBs at Georgia. Does it seem possible that he could help us here as an OC/QB coach?

Would be great, can't see a coach of his experience stepping down to an OC role.

I'm curious as to why you would think that a recently fired head coach who has won multiple SEC titles would demote himself to a coordinator or position coach under one of the most offensively-challenged individuals in football?

Richt will have numerous coaching offers this off-season. He was by no means a failure as a head coach.

I think he'll sit out a year and wait to see what happens at Nebraska. He's from there and would be a perfect fit.

Sure, why not?

But Cam's arrival was celebrated for similar reasons.

I was actually thinking we could pick up Bill Belichick for those positions. He's really good!!

Just stop it. You have made your point and it is time to accept and move on. Or GET OUT.

I don't think the problem is our OC and not even really our development of QBs. Miles doesn't allow the OC to be in charge of the offense and he admitted so much in multiple interviews. If Miles isn't willing to allow someone to come in and actually COACH and to work with our QBs on new things, then it doesn't matter who we get.

Time for everyone to move on. NOW. Grow up and learn to agree to disagree like mature adults.

Pussies like you is why we are in this to begin with. Tough decisions need to be made, not just accepting things, living with it, and moving on. You don't excel in life by living with above average

I don't think he would either, but it wouldn't hurt to ask. He may actually enjoy something with a little less pressure for a couple of years. Maybe he could even bring Georgia's star QB recruit with him. Kiffin seems happy as Bama's OC.
