Long live Richard Murphy.

I agree with Murphy not being very fast.

Ok was that supposed to show me up or something? I said the only time Murphy runs away from a defense is when it is made up of walk-ons and then you show me a video of him making a good play against walk ons in a spring game. That actually HELPS my argument against you. And also a video of him running over somebody in the spring game doesn't prove that he is a speed back. That's irrelevant.

micheal ford has no experience. murphy has played against first team defenses as well. micheal has played against these so called walk ons as well. and high school only gets u a bunch of stars by your name u still have to prove urself. go 2 past recruiting classes of the nation and point out who has done anything. not saying he not gonna be great but ur arguement does push him ahead of murphy. ps. murphy is fast

I feel he's mostly a 3rd down type back, and if he is the starter, that doesn't say much for ridley and ford.

Typical Miles. Senior starts while superior talent sits. Murphy isn't fast at all. He's been run down from behind on every play he's ever had at LSU and that was before he hurt his knee.

running first string at practice today.
does this mean he was first in line to run through the cones? It's the second day of practice, let's wait until a couple of scrimmages before proclaiming anything in the RB race.

Upper class man will be listed as a starter whether he is or not because of Les.

I hope Murphy has a great season.

Do we really care who the starting TB ends up being?
As long as the starter gets some holes and gains yards without turnovers, it does not matter. May the best man start.
May the OL actually win the battle in the trenches (this has been our real weakness lately)for our RBs and QBs.

quote:MY WANT is for Miles to start the best player regardless of what year he is or what number hes wearing. I find it funny he couldn't beat out Scott or Williams and now after coming out of a serious knee injury, he the best back LSU has. I hope this isn't more of Miles typical playing favorites with upperclassmen.
I think everyone's want should be for Murphy to start. He is much improved, dedicated, and improved. He desire for success, especially with this team, is sharp. He's wearing the #18, which other than being a number, is special.

Carl, I thought you knew 99% of my posts on the rant are sarcastic, including the previous one on this thread. I thought that was the protocol for all MSB'ers.
