No they won't. LSU loves Les. They're not going to let him go cheap. They're 11-1 and have a 60 win coach in 5 1/2 seasons. Don't be a retard.

If Michigan wants to take on Miles' contract, I think LSU will gladly waive the Michigan clause so they can pay all the money they would have given Les to a SB winning coach

LSU wants to get out of that one sided contract that Skip stuck us with.

What are the chances of Colorado luring Miles, winner of the 2007 national championship and the coach of the 10-1, fifth-ranked Tigers?

"Two weeks ago, I would've given that story a lot of validity," said Brandon LeGrange, a booster for 15 years in the powerful Tiger Athletic Foundation. "The pressure on him before his win in the Alabama game, I don't know how one man can stand it."

LeGrange, a 1997 LSU grad, said all of the buyout money had been raised "but the win over (Nick) Saban shut a lot of people up."

Sounds like this guy thinks they were gonna fire Miles pre-Bama

It won't be Harbaugh. He burned his bridges with Michigan a couple of years ago, making disparaging remarks about the academics of Michigan athletes.

Most people in the know think Harbaugh wants to be in the NFL anyways, like his older brother, who coaches the Ravens.

The other thing to think about is CLM's daughter, Smacker, who is a nationally-ranked high school swimmer.

The LSU Aquatic Center is the worst facility of it's kind in the SEC, hands down. As a consequence, LSU swimming is consistently ranked at the bottom of the conference.

Michigan, on the other hand, has both a top-notch facility and a prestigious swimming program.

Given the choice between the two, I believe Michigan would go with Miles, who has publicly and genuinely professed his love for Michigan on a number of occasions.

And given how close the Miles family is, Miles may want to accept, in order to give his daughter the best chance to succeed in a nationally-ranked program. While still remaining close to her family.

Depend on it, if Michigan offers Miles this year or next, he won't say no.

Just my two cents.

Let me clarify my statements to say I don't want Miles to go, and I've been wrong so many times this year I quit playing the Pick 'ems

The thing to know about Miles is he is loyal to a fault. He loves Michigan, which is why that is the only school he has a buyout for.

I'm assuming that if Michigan offers Miles, they will come close to matching his salary here. They've never paid a coach that much before, so that may be a long shot.

They've never hired a HC who's won an NC & averaging over 10 wins a seasons.

Loosing Miles would mean loosing a lot of guys, specifically the out of state committs. Maybe some instate ones as well if Frank Wilson left. And probably Zach M.

Most LSU fans porbably won't admit it, but hiring Miles would mean you hire one of the most successful coaches of the past decade. Seriously, he's gotta be up there in win percentage.

Maybe he would be loyal to LSU?

Well, he already has been. The "Have a great day." speech made me proud as a Tiger fan.

My only concern is, Miles may feel that he is needed to resurrect the Michigan program. And Michigan may feel the same way.

All I know is, given the choice between Harbaugh and Miles, Miles is the one that loves Michigan more.

And Miles has something Harbaugh doesn't, and will probably never have: a BCS title.

I hope I'm wrong.

I would love to have Miles stay. He has had a great run here.

If he wants to go to UM, given his ties to the school, I wish him luck and will be pulling for him.

I think RRod stays 1 more year.
