Wife’s boss invited us up to his suite for Grambling game, what should I expect?

I went one game…I felt a little separated from the rest of the crowd. I dunno-I’d rather have regular seats. I felt apart from the cheers, the camaraderie, etc. I’m sure I’ll be downvoted because they’re suites, but it wasn’t all that in my humble opinion.

Who in the hell wants to “behave” in Tiger Stadium.

Give me the lower bowl bleachers over the suites any damn day.

It's nice, but you don't get the full Death Valley experience. It's like watching the game at somebody else's house but you still have to deal with game traffic.

A game like Grambling is a good game for the suites. The excitement of a big game is much better in the regular stadium, but it is really nice having air condition, liquor, beer and food right there.

it's definitely a different vibe but food and drink are free on your suite

some suites only have seating and the food is out there for everyone like on west side and south stadium club

east side actually has food catered directly to the suite

I've only been on east side for spring game but have sat on west side and south stadium club for actual games

I'm not a rich boy but I've been a guest of a rich friend a few times. It's different. More social. It felt like most folks were there to be social and kept a side eye on the game. I'm not overly social so I took a seat in the front row of our suites section and watched the games I went to. The positive is weather is less of an issue.

I sat in a suite once and didn't feel this, just for informations sake. Though I'm sure a lot of it has to do with who else is in the suite.

You'll be able to experience the crowd of fans that are only there for the cheap ticket games only

Nobody will say anything about it, but you will be a bit out of place if you do not wear tux and tails, preferably with gloves.
You will be under- dressed otherwise.

It’s on east side, think we are only ones from her work, his wife left him for a much younger guy so feel bad for him. He has always been a good boss to the wife.

In my opinion, a game like Grambling is perfect for a suite. 1) Easy win, so you don't have to pay attention as much and can socialize more. 2) Early in the year so the A/C will be extremely nice. 3) Not a big game so you won't miss being in the atmosphere of the regular crowd.

Suites are exactly what you would think. Free food and alcohol with A/C and a tv so you can watch other games as well.

east side is much better and newer than west
don't have to deal with the sun in the afternoon
the east side food and drink is all set up buffet style on two different levels, plenty to choose from and spread out enough to where it's not to bad waiting for anything

Grambling will be a good game for it because it will be hot as balls.
