that game was in the 8th or so when i went to bed at 1030. good lord that had to been miserable to sit through 11 innings of scoreless ball in the morning hours.

I gave up on that game at 1am and they were at 15 innings then.

I always thought that an LSU vs ULL supers would be epic.

Epic to see how big LSU's margin of victories will be.

know if there is one, and somehow the cajuns win, there will be no victory lap.

If that would happen I'd puke ... there better not be one ... of course there won't be reason to be one. Right?

20 innings? OMG. Advantage Cajuns. Rice is the one team that may still have pitching left. That is an amazing result during a regional losers bracket game.

Ill take going to the CWS as a consolation.

I don't give a damn who they put in the Box with us, we gotta beat someone. ULL is as good as any IMO.

If we win against ULL it will be business as usual, we were expected to win, and how everything isn't fair. If we lose it will be unbearable we have nothing to win in this "rivalry"

Even when they were called the University of Southwestern Louisiana they were not located in the southwest part of Louisiana...that belongs to McNeese St

the more appropriate name would have been South Central Louisiana State University...

You can put "Yankees" on the turf as well, but it doesn't make it so.

In order to differentiate the school from Louisiana Monroe, you're USL.

How isn't that true?

Southwestern Louisiana Industrial Institute
Southwestern Louisiana Institute of Liberal and Technical Learning
University of Southwestern Louisiana
University of Louisiana at Lafayette

When were they Louisiana?

so spray painting Louisiana on your field NS removing Lafayette of the streets walls on the campus (yes I've seen that) that once said University of Louisiana Lafayette makes it "official" ULL is just UL? Huh no...

The only real University of Louisiana ever was Tulane...

No one else is using the name Louisiana. They have Univ of Louisiana in their name.

No matter how hard I try, I just can't find any fault with that.
