I was just looking at the rosters and my lord there were some NFL studs in that game.
LSU:
Spencer Ware
Odell Beckham
Jarvis Landry
Jeremy Hill
Clemson:
Martavis Bryant
Deandre Hopkins
Andre Ellington( not really a stud)
Sammy Watkins
Chandler Catanzaro

And Miles decides to throw when we should be running the ball. Maddening!!!!

Miles could've punted on 3rd down and not getting a stop on 4th and 15 would still be inexcusable.

The gameplan for that game was an embarrassment.
That game also laid the foundation for Clemson's rise to the top.

that was one of the worst losses under Les. Give Hill the damn ball

The game wax in 2012. Miles is gone. Let it go.

That loss was terrible.
I don't know what the hell they did to prepare for that game.

Y'all are some hijacking fools. This thread was about the future NFL talent that played in that game. Not a bash Miles thread.

I was there. Don't know what was more sickening, incomplete pass on third that stops the clock or fourth and Chavis to keep their drive alive.

Sorry. It was just really sad how we managed to lose that game.

I was at that game. It looked like Miles wanted Clemson to win that game. Pathetic offensive strategy. Our defense was burned to ashes by the end of the game because they were on the field so long.
In the first half of the third quarter, Jeremy Hill rips off a long run for a touchdown, and what does Miles do? He doesn't use Hill the rest of the game.

I agree. We set the tone for the game on the first play, Knock their best player out of the game in doing so. And then just give the game away with horrendous play calling. The defense hung in there as long as they could.

Worst loss of the Miles era.
Game was essentially in the bag and threw it 3 straight plays when they could've come close to ending the game.
How many plays did we run in that game? Something makes me think it was only 38. Bad loss.

It is amazing that Clemson kinda never looked back after that.

That play set the trajectory for those two programs over the next four years.
