I remember eating lunch on draft day at TJ Ribs when RR signed with LSU. Was do excited we signed him...and I hate that, as explosive of a player he is, I don't think he's been able to meet his full potential at LSU. I truly hope he stays, because I think next year could really be an epic year for him, but there are no guarantees in life. If he has the chance to go, more power to him and I wish him the best

Do you think he wants to stick around lsu? He is one of the most explosive athletes we have had, and so underused.

He is a three and done player.

Dreaux, I have no idea....I really don't. I certainly wouldn't blame him for feeling like this is his time. Also, I couldn't blame him for leaving if he didn't feel like the offense would change next year. Maybe change is not the right word, but at least more productive by air next year.

Having read through this thread, I feel like many are severly under-valueing the type of year he just had. He was 1st team all-sec and put up some great numbers. I doubt he's as frustrated as some of you think.

FWIW i think he's gone. He may be graded as a 2nd rounder now based on game film alone, doesn't mean he can't go higher. If he looks great in workouts and tests well, which noone would be surprised if that happened, then he could slip into the first round. The receivers will re-shuffle a bit after workout/combine i'm sure.

Right now Blackmon is obviously way up there. Floyd has character issues. Who are the other highly rated receivers in this draft? i'm honestly drawing a blank.

Just looked it up. In terms of his competition, in addition to Blackmon and Floyd, Alshon Jeffery has weight issues and his production just took a big drop. I think teams might think Mike Williams with him and get scared. Kendall Wright is under 6' and put up huge numbers in a pass happy offense with the heisman winner at QB. Then there's Criner, Jeff Fuller, Dwight Jones. I'm sure i'm missing a few guys. Point is, it's not inconceivable that Randle can be in that 2-4 range after his workouts behind Blackmon and be a late first rounder

I dont' see why he would go to the draft. His stock will get so much higher next year because the draft isn't going to be as strong

Really? There's like 4 good WR in this draft

Blackmon
Jeffrey
That guy from ND
and then Reub..who doesn't have the hype of these guys

Who else??

Helloooo RR to Houston! Texans most likely take a legit WR in 1st round this year. Finally!

RR put up numbers against SEC defenses with college level qb's throwing the ball. He is going to be a baller in the League with the likes of Matt Schaub, Drew Brees, Tom Brady, Aaron rodgers throwing him the ball..If(I think he will) he has a big game against BAMA,,,,Kiss RR goodbye.

Randle is rated as the 8th best WR.

This is a bad year to come into the draft as a WR with all the talent at the position.

He will be better served catching 70 balls for over 1200 yards next year and a dozen TDs from Mettenberger.

Would be a late 2nd round pick this year, maybe even as late as mid 3rd round.

Could be a top 15 pick next year.

This one is a no brainer.

He WILL be back.

Reuben with a great camp could make the 2nd round, more likely a 3rd rounder right now.

If he comes back odds are he is a first rounder with a good season, and with Mett at qb that is very likely to happen.

RR should be ahead of all of Arky's receivers. Childs came into the year considered a 1st rounder but he obviously wasn't the same after the injury. Joe Adams and Jarius Wright are both pretty highly rated slot receivers.
