Not if TCU was trying to recruit him while he was on LSU's roster.
Yep. Especially if not the first time they've done so.

Even if a legitimate dick move. Who cares. When did other people liking you mean more than doing what's best for you and yours. frick opinion, be a dick.... and a winner.

If that is the case, I'm fine with the block. But that reasoning should be made public too.

I really don't think Rogers has anything to do with it.
My guess is TCU may have had some contact before it all went down and maybe that is why but LSU should release him to any school out of the conference.
All he has to do is go JUCO and go wherever he wants after that. He will have to sit out year anyway.

Would this be an NCAA issue?

Lebreton suggests the recruitment of Justin Rogers is to blame.

Possibly, but I understand it has more to do with TCU recruiting Allen behind the scenes while he was still on LSU's roster.

Good for CEO put the wall up around the boot.. but wille Allen is a RS freshman he can go juco for a year then have three years to play at TCU instead of having to sit a year

Very disappointing that the Lebreton article is lacking substance for such an important story.

This. With this move LSU has nothing to gain, only to lose.

Look, if he wants to leave there is clearly a reason. Block him from the rest of the conference, but a Big 12 school is unnecessary.

Sure, but if the main reason is that another school violated NCAA tampering rules then blocking him from going to that specific school is very reasonable. He's not stopping him from leaving.

Makes perfect sense to block him from TCU. They are starting to create a pipeline in North LA. We need to stem that before it becomes the "cool" alternative choice for kids. TCU might not be in-state or in-conference, but they are a good school with high quality facilities.

Downvote away but it's chicken shite pettiness Cruelty to block players from transferring to certain schools

Guess what: these players aren't slaves

This country doesn't have fugitive slave laws anymore

Nobody on this board knows all the facts, so any assertion is based on ignorance.

We should either report TCU, or let him go there.

Playing this middle ground makes us look bad no matter the facts

I don't think the sun is setting on Coach O because Rogers went to TCU. I think we will be just fine with Etling, Brennan and Narcisse.
