Maybe this was already mentioned, but why did we not see 1 replay of this scoring play? No bone breaking images or awkward limb twisting. We were trying to justify the reason but have not heard an answer. Seems like all stories and hype were surrounding their bats and our depleted pitching. Very strange.

A lot of replays were hard to come by last night.

Are you serious?

They were worried that it might be a gut wrenching ankle break or something, so they weren’t going to replay the injury. No conspiracy.

Because they didn’t want to show the replay of him fracturing his leg?

Why would you want to see that?

Best wishes for a quick recovery for a great Tiger.

You obviously never actually saw the Thiesman break.

Peterson said it wasn’t good and they didn’t want to slow-mo an injury.

. @LSUbaseball Alex Milazzo has a fractured shin, his father Jimmy tells me. Jimmy says it won't require surgery. #LSU

The announcement was made almost immediately that they weren’t going to replay it in case “it’s something you don’t want to see”.

Good call in my opinion.

They have no problem showing injuries in football.

Sounds like a spiral fracture. He should be okay.

That is just straight up BS. There is a producer in the truck whose job it is to look at replays prior to them being aired. That producer actually calls for the machines he wants and in what order.

They saw what it was. Not sure why they gave that excuse, but an injury that will not require surgery gets on the air 100 percent of the time.

How many times did we see what we thought was a football player actually dying on MNF?

There are so many cameras at that stadium. Surely there was a view that was not graphic but showed how awkwardly he landed.

Sorry. Not buying it.

He didn’t land in an awkward manner. He can straight down on one foot on home plate.

I’d be willing to bet he’d have been fine if he landed the exact same way on the dirt.

It won't satisfy anyone looking for injury porn, but this highlight reel has the entire play starting at 6m30s and ends with a distant bird's eye view of the play at the plate:

It actually happened on the step before he hit the plate

Tell me you didn’t see the play without telling me you didn’t see the play……
