July 24, 2009

SEATTLE - The 2009 Husky football home schedule features a number of great matchups, including a rare home game vs. a Southeastern Conference opponent, two games against Northwest rivals and a visit from new UW coach Steve Sarkisian's former employer.

Single-game tickets to watch the Huskies in two non-conference games and five Pacific-10 Conference contests go on sale Monday, July 27 at 8:30 a.m. through the Husky Ticket Office, located in Graves Hall on the UW campus. Tickets may also be purchased by calling 206/543-2200 or by visiting GoHuskies.com online by clicking here.

"With the excitement surrounding the new coaching staff and a strong home schedule we are anticipating a very busy day," said David Gravenkemper, UW assistant athletic director for ticket sales & customer service. "There have been a lot of calls already for the LSU game and we expect that game to sell out eventually. We will also continue to sell season tickets for those who may still be undecided. The easiest way to buy tickets on Monday will be online at gohuskies.com. Traditionally our phones are busy all day long."

Fans visiting the Husky Ticket Office in person can pick up a 2009 Husky Football schedule poster. Posters are also currently available at the Husky Team Shop, which is located in the southwest corner of Bank of America Arena

The Huskies open the home slate Sept. 5 with a nationally-televised, 7:30 p.m. game vs. LSU. The Tigers, a consensus top-10 team in the various preseason rankings, will be making their first-ever visit to Husky Stadium. The following Saturday, Idaho visits for a 12:30 p.m. game and the three-game homestand comes to a close when USC, where Sarkisian spent seven seasons as an assistant, takes on the Huskies at 12:30 p.m.

lol, that's like when the W Downtown Seattle had that $139 special. I didn't want to post it until I had my reservation confirmed.

I don't think you'll have a problem getting four together.

Thanks JP. I went ahead and pre-registered all my payment info to help make it faster.

I will likely have two extras in the LSU section if I can get all four together. Shouldn't have any problems moving those either I imagine.
