Seems as though I remember a re-match shaping up with Oregon until they blew it 38-35 to a lowly ranked USC team.
If they win that game, we get the rematch instead if with Bama, beat them again 40 to something and the last few years of LSU woe are completely erased.

OSU, fg to win game. If you watch that over again, you could make a case for it being good. That's how close LSU was to having another national title.
