At halftime of the first home game following 9/11/2001, Tiger Band played Amazing Grace, without their shakos (hats) to honor the fallen. Was a very moving moment that I remember vividly. Just thought I’d share the video to keep those heroes in our memory.

Beautiful half time tribute. Rex Grossman pushed our poo in.

Glad I was there.

Would not be surprised if the current admin/state leaders conceded any kind of ceremony we had planned “out of an abundance of caution”.

The LSU Alumni Band Reunion that year was on 9-8. I was there for that game. I had scheduled a flight back home from New Orleans on Tuesday, 9-11. Needless to say, I never left that day. I finally was able to get a flight back 6 days later on 9-17. I still have the original flight coupon from that day. It's a personal memento of that day I'll always keep in remembrance of 9-11.

Is LSU doing anything today to acknowledge the 20th anniversary? Every other SEC school is….

I expect LSU to do something very last minute after they see others schools doing stuff.

Do you remember the sky that day? It was very strange looking. That moment when 90K+ fans fell silent was a powerful one.

9/11

The day the Neocons used Bush to launch their forever wars and take away our freedom with the Patriot Act. I’ll never fall for that again under the false flag of “patriotism.”

It wasn't the "last round" like this one is, twin towers of hanoi if there were ever ones. Lets find a way to blame auburn for this and the freemason space program. 2020 was supposed to be "the year"
