And it looked like it was gonna be an even split between the two teams for the forseeable future. God. I miss that optimism.

Saban adjusted and continues to (see Sark hire), unfortunately for us Les refuses to even attempt an adjustment.

Two reasons only:
1) A few years of Saban getting program kick started at Alabama
2) Recruiting was still on cruise from Saban's time. We were a perennial national power.

I remember when we barely beat him in 2007 with a stacked team, that was the game we should have known it was going to be bad
