What a joke that was. I remember the dude was on a soapbox for a month leading up to the Sugar Bowl telling everyone who'd listen that LSU better fear the Irish.

I had an oppurtunity to speak with Herbstreit for about 45 minutes last year(before the Miles to Michigan thing). He was a cool guy and had lots of great things to say about Miles and LSU...

I don't remember it that way. Herbie, Mark and Corso were all LSU. Here's the clip.

I knew Notre Dame was gunna choke. Every big game they played that year, they choked terribly. I think that is why it was so "shocking" that Quinn didnt get picked so early in the draft...very overrated.
